Their Results

When it comes to what we can
achieve it’s not just the results
that speak for themselves.

Here is what a few of our clients say too…

Not doing things by halves
(except for cell counts)

“The PureMilk team promised lower cell counts and less mastitis and they certainly delivered. It’s great to work with experts that understand all aspects of mastitis control. Through changes to the shed and staff training we have halved our mastitis and cell count. The farm is more profitable and my staff are proud of their results.”

The big results from small changes

“Our somatic cell count was twice what it should be. We engaged the pure-milk team and they recommended changes to the vacuum, liners and pulsation that reduced teat end damage and improved milk out of the cows. The results are incredible – the somatic cell count has halved and cow flow has improved. Our team enjoys getting to breakfast earlier! We highly recommend the Pure Milk team and the expertise they offer”.

Feedback. Carry out.
Step forward.

“After spending huge amounts of money on Drycow therapy for several years, with minimal impact on our BSC and the resulting clinical cases, we made the decision to invest in a Puremilk consultancy visit. Ian Hodge spent a milking in our dairy observing procedure and checking machine function. He then gave us feedback on several improvements that we could immediately carry out, including adjustments to the ACRs, liner selection and teatspray application. Following the farm visit a written report identified other risk factors for our herd and covered all areas of mastitis management. This has helped us to reduce our BSC from 225000 in September 2010 to 105000 in September 2011.”

Happier cows. Superior milk.

“I noticed that cows were becoming uneasy during letdown and cow flow was beginning to deteriorate. I was suspicious of several things but couldn’t put my finger on it. That’s when I decided to give Ian and the Pure Milk team a call. He was on the case straight away and, after a comprehensive assessment, we found several things – poor milk out, teat end damage, nervousness in the shed and kicking at cups off. Ian approached the herd as if they were his own, his attention to detail and follow-up were exceptional. Within two to three weeks we began to see the benefits – lower SCC (220 – 250), less teat end damage, less mastitis and not surprisingly more milk. Two months later the benefits are very evident: happier cows and staff and, most of all, zero teat end damage. I’m so glad I made the call.”
